Literature Map of the Ulyanovsk region is a constantly growing electronic resource based on modern informational technologies. It is presented on the web-site of Ulyanovsk Regional Research Library n.a. V. Lenin .

Many famous and influential Russian poets and writers (such as N.M. Karamzin, I.A. Goncharov, S.T. Aksakov, N.M. Yazykov, D.D. Minaev) have strong bounds to Simbirsk (Ulyanovsk in the past).
