The WeGO Asia Regional Office, Chengdu will hold its Smart City & e-Government Training Program from November 27th to December 1st, in Chengdu, China. This program will consist of lectures and technical/cultural programs with the purpose of advancing Smart City, e-government and municipal digital capacity of public officials and encouraging inter-city exchanges among WeGO members. All local costs including 5-star hotel accommodation, meals, tours, and local transportation will be sponsored by the WeGO Asia Regional Office, Chengdu, while the airfare should be borne by each participant.
To apply, please complete the Online Application Form by November 3, 2017. Due to high volume of applications, We highly encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Kindly prepare beforehand passport scanned copy, headshot photo as well as the attached nomination form for online application. If you are unable to attach the nomination form, please leave it blank and inform us at the email addresses below that you will send it to us additionally (no later than November 10).
Selection & Travel Arrangements
After receiving all applications, the WeGO Secretariat will go through a selection process to determine the final participants of the Training Program, which may involve English interviews and/or requesting additional information. Once the selection is made, each participant will be responsible for securing their flight tickets as well as visa for China. WeGO will cover local costs including accommodation and meals for the duration of the Training Program.
