The Government of the Ulyanovsk region presented the economic and cultural potential of the region to representatives from 15 countries

On the 27^th of June 2017 a presentation of the economic, investment, tourism, cultural and educational potential of the Ulyanovsk region was held on the venue of the Fourth General Assembly of World e-Governments Organization of Cities and Local Governments. The event was attended by high-ranking politicians from foreign cities and regions, directors of IT-companies from 15 countries such as China, Turkey, South Korea, Mexico, Vietnam and some others.

Ms. Ekaterina Smoroda, Counselor to the Ulyanovsk region Governor on international and interregional relations greeted the guests on behalf of the Government of the Ulyanovsk region. During the presentation the guests were given an opportunity to get acquainted with the unique culture and history of the region, its achievements in the field of innovations educational, economic and investment potential of the region and its successful experience of collaboration with large-scale international companies and localization of their businesses in the Ulyanovsk region. The region was introduced as a training ground for national teams at the FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Russia in 2018.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere and contributed to the development of business communications and to promotion of the region as a prospective platform for realizing international projects.
