Dear WeGO Members,
New
Year greetings from the WeGO Secretariat! We wish your cities all the
best this 2019, and we look forward to working with you in making your
cities smarter and more sustainable this year.
We are kicking off this exciting year by inviting your esteemed city officials to take part in the WeGO Smart Sustainable Cities Training Program in Seoul from March 24-31, 2019.
The popular Seoul Program, which we organize annually, has been
redesigned as WeGO members are keen on learning about the latest and
leading trends in smart sustainable cities. WeGO and the Seoul Human
Resource Development Center (SHRDC), its program partner, have invited
experts who will deliver insightful lectures and have organized exciting
study visits to ensure that trainees both learn and enjoy their stay in
Korea's bustling capital. More details on the training program may be found in the attached file.
Application Information
Upper
managerial level public officials of WeGO members are eligible to
apply, and a maximum of two applicants per city can be accepted into the
program. To apply, kindly complete the Online Application Form by February 14, 2019. The applicant must also attach a headshot photo and a scanned passport in the aforementioned online application form. Late submissions will not be accepted.
After
receiving all applications, the WeGO Secretariat will go through a
selection process, which will include a Skype/ phone interview with the
applicants to determine the final participants of the training program.
