Invitation to the 4th Asia-Pacific Regional Forum on Smart Sustainable Cities and e-Government with ITU

Dear Valued WeGO Members,

After the success of the past Asia-Pacific Regional Forums on Smart Sustainable Cities and e-Government, we are pleased to inform you that WeGO is partnering once again with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) of the United Nations in organizing the 4th Asia-Pacific Regional Forum on Smart Sustainable Cities and e-Government in the beautiful resort town of Thanh Hoa, Vietnam.

It is the first time that the regional forum is being organized outside Thailand, and it will be hosted by the the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam. The forum has served as a platform for knowledge sharing and discussion on emerging issues related to Smart Sustainable Cities and Digital Government including such issues as IoTs, Big Data, Security, among others.  It will feature high-level discussions and will foster networking opportunities among policy makers, regulators, industries, NGOs, and academia thereby fostering public-private-people partnership.

WeGO invites its members to attend this exciting forum! Aside from attending the sessions as participants, WeGO members can participate as:

1.    High-level Speakers - WeGO is inviting city officials, especially Mayors and local government heads, to speak in various sessions including the High-level Round Table Discussion on Smart Sustainable Cities. On a case-by-case basis, WeGO may provide sponsorship for high-level speakers who would be contributing to the program.

2.       Exhibitors - The Regional Forum will also feature an exhibition area where WeGO members and companies can put up booths to promote their smart city solutions and technologies.
